Using Pixtov without an account

You do not need an account. Designs you make stay on your own computer (in your browser) or in the .pixora files you download. They are not sent to us.

If you sign in

Signing in is optional. There are two ways, and they save your designs in different places:

• Email + password ("Saved on Pixtov"). We store your email address and your password in protected (hashed) form, so we never see your password. The designs you save to your account are stored in Pixtov's database: each design's name, the design itself, a small preview picture and the dates it was saved. Big photos may be made smaller so a design fits.
• Continue with Google ("Saved in your Google Drive"). Google tells Pixtov your name, email address and Google account ID. Your designs are saved in your own Google Drive, in a folder named "Pixtov". Pixtov asks only for permission to use the files it creates itself, so it cannot see your other Google Drive files. We do not keep copies of these designs on our side.

Who processes the data

Pixtov uses Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication for sign-in and Cloud Firestore as the database, with servers in Europe) and, for Google sign-in, Google Drive. Google processes this data for Pixtov as a service provider. You can read Firebase's privacy information and Google's Privacy Policy.

What we do not do

• No ads, no analytics, no tracking tools.
• We do not sell or share your data with anyone.
• No tracking cookies. Your browser only keeps what is needed to keep you signed in.
• We use your email only for your account, for example to send a password-reset link when you ask for one.

Deleting your account and data

• Sign in, press your account button (the round letter at the top), then "Delete my account". This deletes your account and every design saved on Pixtov, right away and for good.
• Designs in your Google Drive belong to you: delete the "Pixtov" folder in Google Drive. To remove Pixtov's access to your Google account, go to myaccount.google.com/permissions.
• Designs saved on your computer or as .pixora files are never touched by this; delete them on your computer.

Children

Accounts are meant for people aged 13 and over. Children can use Pixtov without an account.
